![]() Major Horton here is a Member of Parliament and the setting here is the weeks before the General Elections in 1955. The others have the same occupations but different backstories. Some of the suspects and main characters from the original such as Gordon Whitfield and Giles Ellsworthy do not appear.Major Horton's wife dies much later, apparently a suicide from an overdose of insulin. The third is a young woman Amy Gibbs, who it is said, accidentally drank hat dye instead of her cough medicine. The second was the local vicar who failed to wear his mask when using poison near his beehives. The first to die was Florie Gibbs who, despite being experienced in country matters, supposedly ate poison mushrooms she picked herself. Some of the people who died are different from the original. It is later revealed that she is an adopted child searching for her roots. Significantly she had spoken to several of the people who had just died. Here she has a different backstory and cuts a mysterious character initially, moving around the village making her own inquiries. Bridget Conway does not collaborate with them until much later. There she teams up with Luke Fitzwilliam to investigate the sequence of unusual deaths. After Miss Marple reads about Lavinia being killed, she travels to Wychwood under Ashe for the funeral. In this adaptation, it is Miss Marple who meets Lavinia Pinkerton on the train.Murder is Easy was not originally a Miss Marple book, and changes the murderer's motive. Now I am repulsed by some of the movies based on the so called Agatha Christie books. The mystery and suspense attract me to movies like this. Philippa has an outburst in church and stops the service. A man that is found dead is not considered murdered by Miss Marple but "suicide" and makes these wild claims later on.Ħ. Another way to make a so called Christian advertise she is a Christian but is a woman having an affair with a married man.ĥ. A woman that wears a Cross on a chain is having an affair with a married man. "I hate the way it bores people to death every Sunday" etcĤ. She is mad it won't accept "horoscopes and auras" (This is forbidden by the Bible it is considered a form of witchcraft)ģ. She calls the minister "shameless" for asking for money also "I hate the miserable little church"Ģ. Mary makes fun at a minster at a gathering because some building project went wrong. Here are the reasons why I commented about mocking Christianity. ![]() Mary hates everyone and most people dislike her too. Mary has a sister Phillipa waits on her hand and foot. Mary has a regular doctor that visits her and gives her "magic medicine. ![]() Mary thinks she is going to die today so she does not want to go out with her husband George. Mary spoke with a fortuneteller over the phone he said "things are going to fall apart today, "it's going to be a black day". She has her fortune told often and gets scared. She talks nuts and is loud and yells at everyone. Mary seems very delusional and stays in bed most of the time. Mary is married to George Pritchard who has a brother who is married to Philippa who is also Mary's sister. (Well as a Christian God made everything and that includes nature.) Miss Marple is on her way to the Pritchard house. He asks her "do you think God is in nature" Miss Marple answers "I think He is". Another passenger named Mr Seward talks to her. It starts off with Miss Marple on the bus. I don't know if it is in her book or the producers add the hate into the movies. The more I watch these AG movies the more I see they want to shame Christians. ![]() This movie has murder, suspense, lust, anger, hate and more. ![]()
